The project consortium proudly organized an “Eco-Entrepreneurship Event for Sports Clubs” in Sofia, Bulgaria. The event presented the project’s Innovative Methodology and guided participants through three thematic modules designed to enhance eco-entrepreneurial, managerial, and sustainable competencies in and through sports.

Module 1: Eco-Entrepreneurial Competencies Through Sports
This module was based on the EntreComp “In Action” framework and the GreenComp dimension “Embodying the values of sustainability.” Participants explored key competencies that support eco-innovation, responsibility, and value creation in the sports environment.

Module 2: Management of Organizations in and through Sports
The module presented basic principles of sports organization management – from formulating a mission and goals to implementing effective and ethical management practices, including examples from leading European sports organizations.

Module 3: Sustainable Development in and through Sports
Participants learned about the fundamentals of sustainable development in sports, the ecological footprint of sports activities, excellent European examples of sustainable practices, and the changing role of sports managers in promoting environmental responsibility. The bootcamp served as an inspiring opportunity for sports clubs to acquire new knowledge, exchange ideas, and build the competencies needed to lead the transition to greener and more sustainable sports communities.
